Quick answer: no

Gun is worth 1200-1300

You can buy 500 rounds of lake city ammo for $250ish

Are they really worth that, or near that? We’ve been using one for years for alligators. May need to switch up to something cheaper

The price in these are insane. They used to sit for 80 bucks a pop in the late 80s and early 90s... couldn't give them away, same as the .303 British and Mosin.. I bought 2 mosins back in 2009 for $80 each with full kits still in grease

National Match M1A's sell close to $2000 new. It's a good deal if it's in excellent condition with the extra mags and ammo. If the action is factory bedded, then it's a National Match. Some have National Match barrels but don't have bedded actions. Those are not NM rifles.
