Dallas was grooming him to be DC before the HC change. Marinelli was giving him play calling duties on a regular basis.
He's a young, energetic, smart guy that would relate well to players. I think he would recruit well because of that and his tie ins to the NFL and the great Seattle defenses when he was there.
I would be very onboard with this hire.

You can say this about a lot of guys that dont like to recruit. I think LSU just had such a guy.
If talking about fired coaches, we were excited about Cam until we werent.
We were excited about Canada until we werent.
