I will support any LSU player that wants to declare for draft this year, but....

for several of them, it seems another year would really help them. We've seen plenty of examples of LSU players as juniors who declare, and it didn't work out for them. I hope they are getting the right information on draft grade and making a sound decision. But, for all of them, this has been the goal when they signed with LSU.
However, just looking at those who did decide to come back over the years, and most seemed to have made the right decision to increase their draft status

Every financial situation is unique.

I think Phillips and Queen would benefit from another year.
Delpit, CEH, Jefferson, Cushenberry, and Chaisson (if he declares) definitely made the right choice though.

Ehh Queen will test off the charts athletically at the combine and his stock has been rising all year. He’s a fast linebacker, who’s great in coverage perfect for the modern game. He’ll probably be a 2nd rounder at worst 3rd.

You have to consider the mentality that it takes to even play football at this level. Every single junior contemplating leaving has supreme confidence in themselves that they're going to earn a big second contract.
Is that likely to happen for most of them? No but they think it.
