"Needs" won't have anything to do with it.
No one but himself to blame
He will be banned from direct contact with the team before, during, and after NCAA sanctioned events.
I'm not bothered much by it, but it definitely wasn't something the school should have had to deal with, and it does show him to be more about himself

I've been an OBJ apologist since way back when. But this is ridiculous. I'm beginning to think he is mentally deranged. Don't invite him back until he can represent like a man.
