Based on his own home security cameras alone...AH either wanted to get caught or figured he would not get caught or is the absolute worst murderer in history.

All i picked up from it is that Hernandez was borderline retarded, and was a sociopath who thought he could kill anyone without consequence.
Also the whole series is meant to make him a victim and excuse his behavior just because he was good at football. He was a good boy. Didn’t have nothing on him but a harry potter book
