All 5 programs have won National Titles and had great success. Here are records without any adjustments for Bama and Ohio State being on probation.
LSU 202-59 (77.39%) 3 National Titles
Bama 203-63 (76.32%) 5 National Titles
Clemson 196-70 (73.68%) 2 National Titles
Ohio State 219-43 (83.59%) 2 National Titles
Oklahoma 219-49 (81.72%) 1 National Title
These 5 schools have won 13 of last 20 National Titles
Golden Era of LSU Football. OU fans should be disappointed. Last title and only title in that span was 2000.

Oregon probably looks pretty good...

You should have only gone back to 2001. That's when the new century began. That would be none for OU.

So 2000 is part of the 1900s?

Too bad about 2011. Could be tied with Bama for titles over that period.

It's part of the 20th century.

No, it's not. First century is 1-100. 20th century is 1901-2000.

We are disappointed. We had our chances(LSU & Florida)and missed on every one of them. Then the embarrassment of the USC game. In recent years, we've had the great offenses, but no defense what so ever to even get past the first round of the playoffs. We had all thought this year was the start of a turn around for that but you depants and went in dry on national TV. Hopefully we'll see you again in a couple of years and go on and get #2. I've gained a lot of respect for your team, coaches and fans over these past few months. Congrats on the great season and the NC.

Is that why everyone started celebrating the new millennium in 2001?
