Not in the slightest. The transitive property doesn’t apply in football.

A beating B who beat C doesn’t mean A is better than C.

It gets proven every year in the NFL and college games.

Not saying the guy who made the statement isn’t talking out of his arse, but this isn’t an counter argument to it.
