Further proof that your average Republican is still a neocon at heart and will abandon any conservatives that oppose war and the Unitary Executive.

It would also be good for when a Dem is in office and they need checked.
Trumps execution was spot on and more than justified, who knows that the loony left would do, in a time where it could be a republican majority house.

Exactly what revisions were made to the previous version/inclusions within the War Powers Act??
I'm admittedly susceptible to being unaware in this instance, but from what I could glean there are zero revisions. Rather, merely an admonishment for something Trump hasn't done and has shown absolutely zero hints of doing, i.e. hustling in with war actions. Seems to me that he's shown the exact opposite. Thus, more jabbing at Trump for no legitimate reason. Proving to the world yet again how divided we are, and that maybe, just maybe, it is a good time to attack us as the Legislative Branch seems to be hell bent on fostering the idea that Trump's up to something terrible and is being honorably fought within our own government, projecting division and weakness. It's a fabrication.
So really, it has nothing to do with curtailing "neocon" actions, quite frankly, because ain't no one proposed any damn neocon actions.

Could you clarify your post? Are you implying that Trump is a war monger? If so, is that the argument you were making back around the middle of October when he announced that he was bringing the troops home from Syria and ending the USA's involvement in the war that democrats have been mongering?
