At first you're just happy to be making money other people can only dream of. But then you're set for life and you need something besides money to keep going tyrough the grind.

Oh boy. You don't get it. Not even close to what I was saying. If you were a talent like Burrow and someone came up to you and said you are going to be an all pro quarterback but will bounce around playing on bad teams. You will never win a conference title or a Super Bowl but you will be worth 100 million bucks. I promise you you would be okay with having expirienced the disappointment. If you say different, you friend are a liar.
