Bama with a healthy Tua would have been a toss up along with GA, Auburn and a healthy Florida (all within 6 points) ...
Clemson would not truck any of these teams
Could they go 4-0 ... yeah sure but not likely given their early season SUCKFEST tendencies and Lawrence’s pitiful play compared to last year

It’s not “can they beat Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn “ it’s can they play one after another all season long, taking the beatings, playing through injuries, dealing with the pressure week in and week out and continue to win game after game with top level competition?
I think Clemson can beat any one team at any time. I don’t know if they can play top 20 teams one after another all year.
Even our weaker teams that lose more than they win are very tough teams. Mississippi State, the Aggie, Ole Piss, Tennessee, South Carolina etc have very good players and can beat you anytime you play them.
Can Clemson play with these teams? Yes.
Would they be dominant like they are in the ACC? I doubt it.
