With The Mandalorian season 1 ending, why does Disney + not have an original on deck?

They should have a big original series ready to go within a month of The Mandalorian ending, imo

A lot of the criticism of the movies is that they are trying to come out with something SW universe related every year and that it is not always well thought out or developed. Plus after Solo's mediocre performance they shelved the series of prequel movies

Looks like Disney moved up the Mandalorian to coincide with the release of Disney+ and to try and prep the audience for ROS. Originally they had planned to release it after ROS. So, basically, Disney has committed another goof in handling their SW properties.

It amazes me they launched this service but made all the marvel shows a year or more off

Disney keeps pulling Kennedys.

Like with HBO Now for Game of Thrones and CBA All Access for the Picard series that is upcoming, once it’s over, cancel subscription until the next season or when the Kenobi series premieres.

It's not worth the $$$, especially with Mando over.

Ooops, i wanted to watch Petes dragon for the 7th time,,,,errr,, I'm a grown man who wants to watch reruns of boy meets world(movie board weirdos).

Streaming services are scams. So very few good shows for the money paid.

I would have very little reason to have D+ as a single guy, but with kids? It is absolutely worth every penny.

I guess when I get done watching

Clone wars
Rebels
90's spiderman
90's xmen
Ducktales
Dark wing Duck
Gargoyles
Talespin
Rescue rangers
The world according to Jeff goldblum

And after checking to see if runaways and some of the other marvel animated series are worth it. I will cancel too because it just isn't worth it

They'll eventually have multiple Star Wars and Marvel shows coming out every year.

I can't imagine being concerned about $3/month.

A downvote on previous post means we have at least one Hillary voter on this board

It’s like $4.99 a month.

If it was $15-$20 and all it had was The Mandalorian then I could understand. But I’ll be watching some of the SW animated series that I never got around to watching.

They don't force you to subscribe for an entire year. The problem is our Set It And Forget It mindset when it comes to TV since we've only had 1-2 options for so long. Actively managing subscriptions is the way to get the best bang for your buck while supporting programs you like.
