The classic family bad apple situation. You have every right to tell your wife you’re not dealing with her crap and you won’t engage with her. But you have no right to tell your wife to do the same. HOPEFULLY, your wife will understand and accept that you won’t talk with her. But you’ll never be able to NOT see her again. She’s part of your wife’s family and you’re stuck with her until your wife decides otherwise.

We have a "toxic" wife that is a "C - type" personality in our group.

Good luck dealing with her. Her pain is greater than everyone else.

This is past the line of what a spouse can not be required to comply with, the bitch has now made threats against the family unit.

She should be dead to both of you and if the wife is not along on this one it is time to reevaluate some things in your life.

The day I became married my wife she became my primary family along with our children a few years later and our grandchildren even later. Always remained very close with brothers, sisters, parents etrc and can not even comprehend one acting in this manner but they are secondary now.

I am betting the OP and wife are very young
