re: Whose got a Rolex?

I've been on the fence for years if I want a more expensive watch. I've wanted a speedy pro for many years but now that I can get one, I'm not sure I want to spend that much. I'm an engineer and love the mechanical parts of high-end watches but at the end of the day, they are not as precise as digital or quartz that cost so much lower. However, I still have a want for the Speedys,IWC Portugieser, and Rolex Submariners. Purchased a Hamilton Khaki King a few years back that I wear but the constant resyncing of the watch is annoying if I don't wear it every single day. It also bothers me that a majority of the costs to these higher-end watches are simply paywalls and advertising.

The Omega x Swatch Moonswatch is interesting to me though.
