I assume your joking but this is the scary part about today's left. They don't care about China's quest for regional hegemony and eventually global power. They are going to creep into Africa and Europe faster than we coukd have expected because Democrats share this sentiment on military spending.

Nah man the democrats love military spending as much as the next guy. Politicians on both sides make a show of arguing over 1% of the military budget to pander to their bases.
And of course China moving into other parts of the world, they basically own half of africa already. I imagine they’re making similar inroads in Central and South America.
