Well said. Man I tried for years to hold on. But I see what’s coming up and I want nothing to do with it.

Sounds like you are wrestling with the idea to leave too. Trust me, there is a peace that comes from looking yourself in the mirror and knowing you did the right thing. I may never work in politics/govt again, but I am staying true to my principles.
