GolfBalls for fitting much more than golf connection
Just curious coach, but any specific reason why? I've just always gone to Golf Connection when they've been opened.

I've dealt with both over the years. To me, the guys at Golf connection, while great guys, don't seem to really care anymore. If you ask them about a club, "oh yeah, that's a good club." I tired to get fit there, and they basically said, "whatever you like."
At golfballs, they are hungry for a sale. They will go into the numbers with you. Get you the right shaft, head, and grip cobmo that you will hit best.
There are a couple of guys that will steer you toward a brand, but the numbers dont lie. Buy what you hit best.
One last thing to keep in mind. Wait until after Christmas to buy a new set. All of the major brands will release their new gear in February. They will start to unload at the turn of the new year. Most companies will not charge you for upgrades on shafts, custom work on loft/lie, and grips. It saved me several hundred dollars to wait until January/February to buy.
