Vacation sucks, its for dreamers who can't find happiness in who they are and where they've landed in life. Waste of time, money, and resources if you have any kind of pride in your homestead and priceless valuables. Especially if you have something like live animals and leaving it all in the hands of the trusted house sitter or kenneling it.

I hate leaving the dogs, the cat, the fish, the garage door opener, any packages and mail, lights on or off, refrigerated food, air conditioner/heater, computers, guns, jewelry, art, collectibles, the second car, you name it, in the hands of some one else.

My sympathies brother, and wish me the same as I will be cashing out my savings and leaving my homestead in the hands of some strange woman for a week real soon while my dreamer wife (no pics assholes) floods instagram with photos of herself in far away lands.
