Right. His entire body (ball tucked in tight) was in the endzone when his knee hit the ground on first down. They went with the call on the field (unlike the TD the play prior) because it was inconclusive. Doesn't change the fact that he didn't make it out of the endzone.

Do u know the officials mechanic on that?

I haven’t looked at all the HUDL yet but will

1. Fwd progesss comes into play
2. Something else comes into play - more on that later
