Is it fair to say the Deep State primarily consists of NWO/Globalist leftists?

I originally believed the Deep State covered a wide political spectrum but I think after 3 years of Dim resistance I'm not sure there are any true conservatives who fit that Deep State moniker. I know there are entrenched conservatives in the federal government but the people who comprise the Deep State are not America first and I believe any true conservative is America first. We need to thank Trump for forcing our politicians to take a side on being for America first or being a NWO/Globalist threat to our country.

Nah, and it's not monolithic in any event. You're attributing too much ideology when it's really just greed. People like Soros are ideologues, and politicians will dance to his tune if it means money and power, but I suspect if they could keep their gravy train going by wearing MAGA hats they'd do that as well.

What's not their concern, at all, is the American tax payer or this country. To that extent I guess you could consider them globalists.

It's not so much an ideology as a culture of protecting turf. Take a local govt like the city of Shreveport. If you hire a guy to come in with one job: 'Get rid of 1/4 of our employees based on productivity'.
That guy is gonna get grief he never dreamed of. Multiply the size of Shreveport times the size of the Federal Govt. It's like a major hot war.

This does not happen in private enterprise because unproductive people are not allowed to fester for decades.
