I never saw "hall of famer" watching him play in the NFL. He was just a longevity guy that had a solid career. King of like Gore but Gore will get in because he's so high on the all time list. Neither are/were special NFL players.

And this doesn't count the 7,000+ yards and 61 TDs he put up in the USFL.

Most great players aren't asked to return Kick offs & get garbage stats at 20 yards a return. Thurman Thomas, Emmith Smith , Marshall Faulk would never be asked to return Kick offs . They could have easily compiled an extra 5000- 10,000 yards or so on kick returns.


Walker put up some decent numbers a couple seasons on bad Cowboys teams & was a major disappointment on a true contender ( Vikings). Walkers NFL legacy is being the linchpin to perhaps the worst trade in NFL history.
