how many times has joe had to run against a blitz or get sacked or make a quick throw hoping WR can get off and open quick enough? we saw men blitzing freely against OM. we coulda used screens there. we definitely neecded them.

I mean, we scored 58 on the road. We could have used them and possibly had success like you said, but when you score 58 and win by 21, I don't think you really need anything.

Those quick throws are called hot routes and they are checks when Burrow sees where the blitz is coming from. It’s not hoping he knows they will be open. The best way to beat the blitz is throw it where they are blitzing from.
