To buy championship tickets now or later?

There are currently tickets for sale. However the schools tickets haven't been given out yet. So the supply is low. Cheapest ticket cost on stubhub is $1200. According to ticketIQ ticket prices dropped last year by 25% once the teams were announced. However, if we make it with the game being in NOLA the question is, is this going to be the case?

in 2011, there was not a ticket to be found for under $1K. If LSU goes, $1200 is a not a bad deal.

Now. When LSU makes it those buyers wont need hotels orneed to spend much to travel. As such they will pay more for tickets. Same reason SEC championship tickets are never cheap when Georgia goes.

I pulled the trigger a couple weeks back at $900 each. Burrow is going to up the demand for the tix. I would get them now

I just pulled the trigger on Stubhub ~$1650 per ticket after all the fees. We've waiting eight years to get here again.

I think they do get cheaper if LSU isn’t in it. Now you have both schools that have to travel. You’ll have more supply and less demand. If LSU goes, which presumably they are I think demand is high and prices probably go way up.
Either way sounds like the consensus is just buy the damn tickets now.
