Who do you guys think will be the "Spy" on Jalen Hurts? Marcel Brooks, Queen?

Yall just need to be gap sound and control the line of scrimage. You don't need gimmicks.

We won’t know until it happens and neither will Jalen.

My guess is a combination of guys.

probably multiple guys, depending on the package we have on the field. My bet is Stevens has the job most of the time, though.

Are you under the impression that we will be using a spy often?

All I know is whoever it is better wrap up the ankles, because Jalen ain't going down with a little chip. Hang on that dude until he's down or help arrives.

I’d say Stevens or possibly Queen. Or both.

We know going in that Hurts will run and run often! I am sure Aranda is already hard at work devising a scheme to keep him in check...

Agreed but easier said than done for us. Everyone wants to make a play which is good but also hurts sometimes

Delpit.

Similar plan as in the aTm game. Play Hampton as high safety and put Delpit in the box. Spy Hurts and blitz at times if the opportunity presents itself.

Delpit can help stop the run, fast enough to spy Hurts, can blitz here and there, and can drop back in coverage for short underneath passes. Just him dropping back a few times will be enough to help confuse Hurts as to what Delpit will be doing on D. It will force Hurts to guess and I'm not sure his football IQ is as high as his talent.
