I'm ok. Using my extended warranty on my Jeep to get a brand new radio. I only had a couple thousand miles left on the warranty and started having issues with my radio bluetooth....figured it maybe needed a reset.

Nope...needs to be replaced but warranty covers it

That’s great.

Be sure to make the time for any little thing that’s not right, to be fixed.

Right before our extended warranty had run out, we got an entire new dash because it had cracked for just the $100 deductible.

Already did that. Originally brought it in cause I thought there was some electrical issues (various lights such as engine light or other alerts would go off on the dash for a couple seconds and then just go away). Turns out that was just loose cables they needed to tighten.

Yeah the radio (it's a full navigation/dvd/cd player type system) normally costs 1200 to replace...I just have to pay $100 deductible.

Course...the Uconnect radios in the Jeeps (especially the 2014 ones) SUCK in general. But at least I'll have a brand new one that will take some time to show it's true colors. And then I'll just replace with a better aftermarket one.

Morning Chickie

Yo cody, the dash is in my yukon XL. I do have a truck as my daily driver, however.

When are you and manders getting married?

Can I auto DV everybody who ask that damn question I'll probably buy the ring here in a couple of months

I was asking because I wanted to look at putting automatic running boards on my truck but didn't know any good brands or where to start

Gotcha.

I’m looking at the same thing but I’ll probably go regular.

With the automatic running boards, I just have a hard time justifying $1800 for another something that will break.

But I have to get something soon, otherwise the new seats will wear out faster with the sliding up and in.

Thats a deal when you’ll have it for 40-50 years.

Just keep a maintenance fund available. $800-$1200 a pop when they start losing time.

The only thing about my running boards is it just makes it seem bulky. They are chromed out and set well with all the chrome accents but I think it would look sleeker if the running boards were hidden.

I'm like you though - can i justify spending a $1500 on something that might break?

That’s damn near my truck.
Full sized bed, though.

But I’m going with all black running boards.
