It puts such a strain and stress on a defense. It causes them to take more risks and compounds the problems even more. I like your comparisons but I don’t want to make impossible expectations for him. I do think because of his mind and heart he can be successful but I hope he ends up anywhere but Cincinnati. I like Flores so maybe Miami could be better for him. If I had to compare him I’d say he’s a lot like Troy Aikman. Same exact size 6-4, 216 both very accurate, great leaders, ultra competitive and if you remember before he started getting hurt Aikman was very mobile. He started out at Oklahoma in Barry Switzers wishbone offense. Mechanically they’re different (release, feet) but everything else they remind me of each other.

This is one of the most well thought out posts I’ve seen. I love football, but don’t have a sense of the x’s/o’s like others as I was a cross country runner. Very cool and enlightening.

I have a sense that Joe is studying the heck out of film this week and will definitely have an answer for the “vaunted” Georgia D.
