An aside, but I always liked Old Testament names like Sybil Ruth and Naomi. The teller at my bank was named Tabitha. I made a comment that her parents must have liked the old TV show "Bewitched". She smiled and said she hears that all the time. She said it's actually biblical.

I knew a girl named Zama. Pronounced 'Zay-muh.'
She explained that she was named after the 'Battle of Zama' which marked the end of the 2nd Punic War in 200 BC. I was impressed. And, yes, she was very pretty and very intelligent.
