The first breakaway entity who claims a strategic weapon system will get deleted. Unless you want to establish yourself as Portugal and pray for protection. If it ever gets to that point, the generals will make the decisions. And no one is going to like the results. Look at the Muslims in western China. That’s what you’ll get.
You like what you have? You get to keep that because we’re the baddest mother frickers on the planet. You throw that protection away with Balkanization. You want to give up being the best because orange man bad, or queer guy wears a dress?
