Im looking to upgrade my current set of clubs and noticed that I have a lot of old clubs sitting in the garage that I never use. Looking to trade them in (preferably for cash). Does anyone have any experience doing this and can suggest places that pay well?

Golfballs.com in Lafayette (and online) will use the PGA guide for their trade ins. They will give you store credit for them, not cash. There are plenty of sites online that will give you money for your clubs. 2nd swing, TGW, etc. Most of these will give you site credit.

I don't know of anywhere that will give you cash. You can sell on ebay for "cash."

Unless your clubs are relatively new, I've never found that it is worth the effort. Clubs seem to depreciate with swiftness. Some Scotty's or other high end putters, notwithstanding.

Irons are seemingly worth 20% of what you paid at retail after a few years

dallasgolf.com will pay cash for golf clubs. They will give a bonus for store credit though.

I’ve had good experiences with Golfballs.com in Lafayette. I’ve bought two sets of irons from them trading clubs in simultaneously and walked out very pleased with what I ended up paying out of pocket.
