Pollack’s argument is what is wrong with college football. He discredits LSU going into Alabama and winning by saying we gave up 41. No doubt he would be more impressed with Ohio State beating some scrub team 41-10 at home.

It’s not who you beat with these guys, it’s simply style points. It’s no different than Olympic ice skating.

He should have asked Pollack this: Which team will you lay money on to beat Alabama at home.
Penn St
Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Mich St
Rutgers
Cincinnati
Northwestern
Indiana

Ohio St gave up 27 at Michigan, who isn't even in the same zip code as a tua led Alabama offense. Michigan would have had a lot more aside from subpar wrs.

True dat. For one thing, 7 of those points were due to a punt return, not our D. And the last Bama TD was given up in garbage time b/c we were not playing the proper defensive alignment. Finally, Auburn, which has a very good D, gave up 45 to their backup QB at home. We are not just great on offense. We are very good on defense, and anyone who doubts us or who is in our way is going to find that out the hard way.
