My wife says I've gotten cheap. It's not that, I just dont care enough about pricey stuff. I prefer preowned vehicles and modestly priced clothing.

Bingo.

The fact that so many people out there bring home upper middle class incomes but still live paycheck to paycheck is absolutely insanity to me.

I have a nice car, a nice house, and I get to take a couple nice trips a year.

The last thing I want in life is to be constantly stressing about making my boat and lake house payments each month.
