Not allowed to work your 1L year unless given special permission, which is rarely awarded.

Trust me, they're doing you a favor by making you not work.

Abita, you seem to have a lot of knowledge about this topic. I’d like your opinion.

I’m currently going through a program with the VA where I may have an opportunity to have my JD tuition paid at LSU. Grades are good. LSAT is scheduled. Just one big problem, I would have to quit my job to do it. Married with 1 kid. Would have to relocate to the BR area.
