I remember when he used to jump over people and take big hits and half the time bounce off of them for 50 yards. He’s not giving it his all right now and doesn’t want to do anything that might risk injury. It’s frustrating because we all know he’s phoning it in a little.

Exactly. I don’t know if he picks and chooses his games or maybe that first season took more out of him than people realize but he just isn’t fighting as much as he used to.

Part of that could be injuries but it also could be him not wanting to risk further injuring himself so to stay somewhat healthy, even if he isn’t as effective

Meh, I just think he’s hurt and being smart trying to prevent making it worse. Peyton has probably told him to just take what’s there and not take any unnecessary hits. We aren’t winning shite without a healthy AK. His “business decisions” are as much about the Saints’ business as his own imo.

This is what kick returners do. Ever notice they ball out their first year - reckless with their bodies and are pretty good to earn a roster spot.

Then they start going out of bounds a lot more and those impressive plays dry up in yr 2-3.

I’d be afraid he checks out once he gets paid.
