Yes the onside kick was frustrating and I’m mad as hell about it but he averaged 5.5 yards per carry on 11 carries.

The passing yards weren’t there but we obviously gameplanned to get the ball out quick and Jones is one of if not the toughest linebacker to beat in coverage in the NFL.

Calm the frick down about him.

Also let’s not forget that he’s probably not even close to 100% after knee and ankle injuries.

He did run well, ran well to sidelines on every run outside the tackles

This is why numbers can be deceiving. Anyone that’s been watching him can clearly see he is not the same right now

He flat out made a business decision on one of those kicks

I mean look at the stats. Brees averaged 6.1 yards per completion. Thomas only had 48 yards. The offense as a whole was shitty.

Honestly Cook breaking tackles, Hill, and Kamara running were our only offensive bright spots

Don’t forget about Michael Thomas making the same “ business decision” lol.

Traveling teams normally look bad on Thursday night games. I agree we could do MUCH better against onside kicks but I think they expected the ball to bounce and didn’t wanna attack it. I’m not mad at Kamara, but I’m also not a woman.

He looks soft and playing very tentative. My guess it’s the injury which makes me think why he is playing?

So did Michael Thomas. I honestly don’t know what we were trying to accomplish. It looked like we were playing red rover

He’s definitely not breaking tackles as well and doesn’t look as nimble as he was earlier. But yes I definitely think it’s the injuries.

He looks like he doesn’t really want to be out there, been that way for a while, I just don’t see him finishing plays like he did before, and the first guy used to never get him, this year it happens a lot. Hope it’s just because he’s not fully healthy.

We need to use Murray more. So frustrating seeing him only get 3 touches a game

His demeanor has pretty much always been that way. His tackle breaking was always due to elite agility and it’s just not as crisp right now. Probably won’t be until next season.

OL did not get very good push at all either thanks to the injuries.
