Due to a lack of in-person bullying, and a lack of fist-fights, these kids get shunned with no recorse to face their tormentors or stand up for themselves. The problems aren’t resolved by a low-stakes school yard scrap, but instead stew until it boils over into real deadly violence.

Rather than a couple punches and shoves in 7th grade that results in the two kids earning respect for each other and becoming friends, the bullied kid suffers in silence until he finally snaps and murders everyone at age 17.
