He will be fine and learn to live with it. We had a dog when I was younger get cataracts, and lived until he was 12. Still ran around the yard on his own and everything. They learn to pick up on shadows to see. I think paying to reverse cataracts in a dog is a horrible use of money, but that’s just me.

sounds like Nuclear Sclerosis , not Cataracts. NS comes on much slower and the animal can adjust to it. Cataracts comes on fast and can and will confuse the animal.
