Like what they are best used for and when?. Like Doe is estrus is for rut correct? Deer urine is a cover scent? What do yall use for scrapes or making a scrape? Do yall cut a branch above the scrape?

Just make sure you taste them to make sure you're getting a quality batch

They are best used during or right at the beginning of the rut. You are correct with the doe in estrous, I have had success with tinks 69 and code blue.
For making scrapes I add some doe pee as well as piss in it myself.
That being said I have prolly poured gallons of it over the years but only know of 5–7 times it worked

just pee in a bottle and use that.

Yea I was curious as how effective they are or if its mainly a user error or just what

Sometimes I’ll use deer urine but not from a doe. I know a lot will scoff at me but IMO, buck urine works much better if you’re looking to kill a good buck.
If you’re hunting an area that you are certain a mature buck hangs around, the smell of of another buck will drive him mad. That’s his territory. His nose is telling his brain there’s another buck cruising my area looking for poon. I use it during the rut and have had success

During the two weeks of the rut use a quality doe in estrus scent. Tinks #69 or Wildlife Research Center's Special Golden Estrus. Dip wicks in the estrus doe urine and hang up 3-4 wicks about 40-50 yards from your stand. Be sure you can see them from your stand. A buck will come in from downwind to check them out. Don't grunt, rattle, etc., just hunt. Take down and put out each time you hunt, don't leave them out. They work best on days that are breezy, as the scent is carried through the woods.
