The college FPI barely changes throughout the year because the inputs are largely stable (talent on roster, returning coach, returning QB, etc). Any teams that over or underperform greatly aren’t really captured until the next year’s FPI.

First off, I don't think OSU will jump LSU this week but, but, they possibly might next week with a double digit win at Michigan....who is playing really good ball. I don't think they have the all around skills though and it will probably be OSU's 12 double digit win of the season. OSU can't afford to fumble their way to victory though. Shea Patterson is the kind of QB that will get eaten alive by CY, who probable is the best I have ever seen.
