30 round magazines are considered “high capacity” in NY. They’re illegal to own. He’s never committed a crime of any kind or used these magazines to harm anyone, but someone reported him for having them. Technically, the police don’t know if he actually does have them, but they used the red flag law and this report as grounds for assaulting his property to find out.

So they want to enter his house based on someone's word?

I hope he takes a few cops out if they force their way in.

And, I guess the good news is - this is (pardon the pun) ammo to push back in pro 2nd states (i.e. the South and that's about it, boys), because this is exactly how they will be used to function as backdoor gun control.
