and I totally agree with you. great young core that won't need Jrue. of course I'd love to keep him as a mentor but I doubt the money is there when you have to pay Zion, Ingram, Hayes, NAW, & Didi

i actually think (if most/all goes well) that it will be a pretty smooth transition. jrue got his max deal here, there should not be any animosity or hurt feelings there at all.

louzada will need next year and the year after to even get up to speed. so will hayes. in the meantime there will be ample opportunity for holiday to ball out, be happy, make big dollars and have fun. honestly i cant think of many players who are in a better basketball and quality of life situation than he is.

to directly answer the question...the current deal is the last max-ish deal holiday will have with the pels. he will be allowed to make his own decision from there
