well then we need to define what we mean by Jrue "fitting our timeline." Does that mean he fits because re-ups with the team or that he's fits because he is going to help build culture & pass the torch?

His current contract fits our timeline.

We can speculate, but who knows where any of our players will be, including Jrue, in 3 seasons. So I have no clue if that means we extend him a max in 3 seasons, a smaller contract, let him walk, or trade him down the road.
