Like many others here, I had Netflix, Hulu, and amazon prime while still paying for Directv. I cancelled directv and currently have att tv (formerly Directv Now). I was paying roughly $140/month for directv. Now I’m paying $50-60 for att tv.
I’ve posted this before but the biggest difference to me in cable/satellite versus streaming is the boxes you have to rent. With cox or directv I was paying over $50/month just for the boxes. Some of those boxes would go a month or two without being used (porch, guest room, etc). With streaming services, I pop a $15 fire stick in the guest room and I’m not paying $9/month for the tv to not be used.
