I actually started off working as a government contractor out of school, all hard charging about how the US government was a source of good for the country. Politically I was fairly liberal after a BA and MA in Political Science. Thought I was doing some good. Went to the military, then I got to see the "real" government through a couple unusual assignments.

Now I'm a hardcore libertarian who will never, ever work for the steaming cesspool of corruption that is the US government ever again.

If the American people saw half of what I did (and I only saw my own little tiny corner), there would be a country wide revolt tomorrow.

Ah, who the hell am I kidding. They still wouldn't give two shits as long as the gravy keeps flowing out of DC.
