Well maybe you have but I've lived in Lafayette my whole life and cannot recall anyone getting it for wearing LSU gear. Maybe if there's ever a matchup between the two. Otherwise all this talk about Lafayette here is quite exaggerated.

Define harassed. Because if it’s anything other than good natured fan banter you’re full of shite. I’ve worn LSU gear in Lafayette for 50+ years and have never, NEVER had anyone tell me anything.
I wear my UL baseball cap around BR. I’ve had one guy joke with me on an LSU/UL game day, telling me good luck.
