I am not sure why our culture views negative reinforcement as the only or best way to motivate people. In the long-term, positive reinforcements work much better.
He knows what is best for this team and the players on it and people on TD who think they know are full of $h1t.

As a former CEO sometimes you have to beat your people down but the most important part of that is building them back up when you can...sometimes they have already beaten themselves down and you need to build them up...you do this and you will go far in any sort of management capacity!!
