I had to use Wix in college. Really easy to use.

Kind of depends on how you're planning on using the website, what will be on it, how often it's updated, how many people will update it, and what your skillset is.

Wix or managed wordpress are some of the easiest you can get. You can get a CraftCMS up on a DigitalOcean droplet for cheap/easy as well.

shopify is really good and pretty easy to use if you'll be selling products.

Wix or Squarespace absolutely. We use Squarespace for our church and are very pleased.

Most of these sites will charge for domain registration, hosting, and website building. Some will charge monthly plans for the set up and/or hosting. Godaddy is one of them.
I recently built a new site on hostinger.com. It was very cheap as I bought the hosting for 3 years, which also included security.
I first bought the domain in godaddy since I already had an account.
I set up the site and customized with wordpress. This can be quite confusing at first. But in short those are the 3 elements of building a website: domain, hosting, and website customization.
Someone mentioned wix. It is very user friendly. The best thing to do is just start. You can always change or do more later. Good luck.
