A lot of them deeply resent Aranda because he's been seen as the best coach on the staff since this HC's tenure began. So any evidence that demonstrates his faults they pounce on with incredible vigor. It doesn't matter that he's had 3 years of good to great defenses. His worth is reduced down to this season for them. Many of them now openly are hoping he's let go.
It's been building for years, they can't help it.
