Yes, the DB failures stick out like a sore thumb, cost TDs, and are indeed real issues.
But the LBs have had more consistent issues, for longer, and are the basis that makes this defense work (or fail). They are out of position way too much. They don't get sideline to sideline (as mentioned above). Many times the seem content to get behind a DL and watch the play go by. So like Fat Bastard said... no gap control.
Also someone mention trouble with zone reads. They struggle with keys period, and those confound them the most. Hence part of the reason for being out of position and losing control of the gaps.
We are seeing an effect of losing Divinity (who did play sideline to sideline regularly). But that's not a source, it's just compounding the issue.
