New Orleans you suspect. You would think a mayor's race would bring out more since its local.

There wasn't a lot of difference between the mayoral candidates and none of them were promising to basically turn the city into a prison camp, so the mayoral election wasn't that big a deal. Rispone shot himself in the foot by targeting New Orleans and hoping there were enough resentful rednecks so dumb that they're afraid of the city and hate it to outnumber the voters in the state's only real population center. It's like no one told him that he'd have to be governor of the city, too. Whoops.

Yes his commercials were essentially “a vote for me is a vote against New Orleans “. Stupid and lazy and frankly a simpleton campaign for dummies. I’m a republican and he was a horrible candidate. Thanks lane grisby.

They had to cheat to beat Rispone.
Let that stew.
Let that stew.

The get out the vote was much more planned for this over the mayors race. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent getting people to the polls via buses. National DNC money and Superpac money flowed in like water to get JBE elected.
