Does it come off if you wipe your hand on it?

I put one together a few months ago and don’t remember any dust. Some pieces had a bit of a silver finish to it but that was about it.

Big tip, go get some ziplocks and put each step’s hardware in a separate bag. It will help you move faster and I found that the dirtier the other bags get, the more likely that the sticker with the part number comes off.

Do the same with the wood for each step. Just stack them in order and lay the parts bag by it.
