They honestly thought they were never going to lose another election after Obama. Trump slapped them with his dick, shite in their mouths and won the whole thing.
They're like a bunch of bratty children who have to remind you can't always win, sometimes you lose. But they just cover their ears and scream and kick their feet like the bratty authoritarian children they are.

The problem is that the election of Trump will just be a speedbump in their process until/unless he nukes them from orbit.
